NumType: numeral type

The NumType feature applies to:

Card: cardinal number or corresponding word

Examples

Ord: ordinal number or corresponding word

This is a subtype of adjectives or pronouns.

Examples

Mult: multiplicative numeral or corresponding word

Not used.

Frac: fraction

Not used.

Sets: number of sets of things

Not used.

Dist: distributive numeral

Not used.

Range: range of values

Used for expressions such as:

Gen: generic numeral, i.e. a numeral that is neither of the above

Used for time expressions such as:

Treebank Statistics (UD_Italian)

This feature is universal. It occurs with 3 different values: Card, Ord, Range.

5872 tokens (2%) have a non-empty value of NumType. 1221 types (5%) occur at least once with a non-empty value of NumType. 1177 lemmas (6%) occur at least once with a non-empty value of NumType. The feature is used with 3 part-of-speech tags: it-pos/NUM (4892; 2% instances), it-pos/ADJ (978; 0% instances), it-pos/PROPN (2; 0% instances).

NUM

4892 it-pos/NUM tokens (100% of all NUM tokens) have a non-empty value of NumType.

NUM tokens may have the following values of NumType:

NumType seems to be lexical feature of NUM. 100% lemmas (1105) occur only with one value of NumType.

ADJ

978 it-pos/ADJ tokens (5% of all ADJ tokens) have a non-empty value of NumType.

The most frequent other feature values with which ADJ and NumType co-occurred: Number=Sing (825; 84%), Gender=Masc (531; 54%).

ADJ tokens may have the following values of NumType:

NumType seems to be lexical feature of ADJ. 100% lemmas (71) occur only with one value of NumType.

PROPN

2 it-pos/PROPN tokens (0% of all PROPN tokens) have a non-empty value of NumType.

PROPN tokens may have the following values of NumType:

Relations with Agreement in NumType

The 10 most frequent relations where parent and child node agree in NumType: NUM –[flat]–> NUM (211; 100%), NUM –[conj]–> NUM (144; 100%), NUM –[compound]–> NUM (77; 100%), NUM –[nummod]–> NUM (31; 97%), NUM –[fixed]–> NUM (17; 100%), NUM –[nmod]–> NUM (13; 100%), ADJ –[conj]–> ADJ (4; 67%).
